Alfano Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery hosted a Time To Smile free dental day on April 17, 2021.
Dr. Pete Alfano and his team offered free tooth extractions during the Time To Smile event. This event provided free dental treatment for individuals without the means to pay for care.
Dr. Alfano, a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon was excited to lead this day of giving back.
“Throughout my career, I’ve always liked giving back to the community. I’ve been on mission trips abroad but I wanted to do something a little closer to home. We’ve had many events canceled this year and things will likely be canceled in the upcoming year too so there is a definite need for outreach to the dental community that’s not being seen,” Alfano said.
Doctors in the Verber Dental Group also volunteered at the event. The group hopes to plan more free dental days in the future.
