My name is Joseph Search, and I’m a dentist with the Verber Dental Group. I’ve been a dentist for about 10 years, out of school, now out of residency. I started mostly on the East Shore practicing and had some great relationships there. When I was looking to become a partner in the industry, I got a chance to meet with Dr. Verber and instantly I knew after talking to him our values and his vision for his group was what I wanted too. It was something that instantly I knew this was the right group and the right individuals. I met all their partners and knew that this was the way to go.
The way that we treat patients, and take care of them is very important to me, as dentistry keeps changing and becoming bigger and bigger, it’s important to hold on to those goals where we value our patients and value our employees. Anytime we talk to anybody that’s interested in coming in, I always let them know that this is a great opportunity. It’s somewhere where you can grow and come to stay and build a practice with a foundation where you’re involved with the community too. It’s different than other larger groups because it is only solely based and owned by dentists. So our number one thing is to make sure we’re taking care of our patients above everything else.
Anything that we add in terms of any specialties, or any equipment, it’s always in the best interest of the patients. We want to make sure we’re taking care of our team, and also the patients at the same time. Dentistry is always changing and evolving so one big thing about our group is that we’re always staying ahead of the game, whether it’s technology or different advancements or adding additional employees or staff, we always want to create that medical kind of feel for dentistry where we’re creating more of a healthcare system within our community.
One of the most exciting things we have started about two years ago, we started to create a Verber Dental Lab. Just one of the additional things that we brought in which we have an incredible staff and incredible dental technicians. Some of the stuff that we can do digitally now in terms of scanning our patients with iTero, creating three-dimensional maps, doing 3D shaping of the face. We can digitally treatment plan a case, wax it up and know exactly what it’s going to look like. We’re able to give them a high-end quality product at the end of the day.
