In this ABC27 Good Day PA segment, Dr. Michael Verber discussed Time to Smile, a community program where Verber Dental Group dentists, hygienists, assistants, and treatment coordinators volunteer their time to provide free dental care to those in need throughout Central Pennsylvania.
Since its inception, the program has delivered nearly $200,000 in free dental care, with the most recent event alone providing $47,000 in services in a single day. Dr. Verber emphasized that the program is the practice’s way of giving back to a community that has been remarkably supportive of their growth.
The next Time to Smile event is scheduled for November 7, 2026 and will focus on honoring veterans and first responders—individuals who have given so much to their communities.
Services will include exams, cleanings, fillings, radiographs, and simple extractions. Dr. Verber noted that many veterans transitioning from military to civilian life need dental care during that period, and the program can also offer services that may not be available through the VA.
